the martin's: My Birthday!

December 2nd was my 21st Birthday!!! I had so much fun! Thanks everyone for the texts and posts, you guys are great! It started off on Saturday (yes my birthday wasn't until that next Tuesday) but I am spoiled! James' parents took us to a movie! We saw Transporter 3 (I wasn't a fan at all, but just going to the movie was fun itself). After the movie, James took me to one of my favorite places, Chili's!!! We both kind of celebrated my Birthday on Saturday because he has class at night, and wouldn't be there to celebrate with me, he is so sweet to do it early :) On my actual Birthday (Tuesday) I was able to sleep in, it was great. I didn't have to work until 1pm! At work everyone was so sweet, they sang to me :) After work I went home and my family came over! (My Mom, Russ, Tyson, (Heather was in Washington DC), My Grandma, and Grandpa.) James was able to stay for an hour or so until class, and so we opened presents!!! I am so spoiled! My Mom and Russ gave me an AWESOME Calphalon brand griddle pan and some really cute banana split dishes! Tyson gave me a great make-up holder from Mary-Kay! My Grandparents gave me a 72 hour kit!!! I had been really wanting one, they are great. And James soiled the heck out of me, I am seriously so spoiled. He gave me a DARLING giraffe purse, 2 shirts, a hoodie, and 3 pair of earings! After presents we had cake. My grandma makes me a cake every year, and last year it said "Happy 21st Birthday Shandi!"... well last year I was 20... HAHA! It was so hilarious! So this year it said: "21 Again!" Thanks again everyone for thinking of me on my special day, I love you all!
