the past forever... and Easter!

This post is going to be long. I don't update my blog enough I've decided, yet I say that every time?! That's okay, I think a lot of us can plead guilty to this.
What's been new with us?I will start from the most recent I can remember and go from there.
Easter! We had a good Easter this year together. We watched conference and then went up to my Grandma's in Brigham and ate turkey dinner with my mom and sister. Tyson had to work :( My grandma has been having a lot of back issues and wasn't doing so well. My cute grandpa made the majority of the meal and I couldn't believe it! He is modest though and denied it ha ha. Oh, and the Easter bunny found me and James! He brought James 2 shirts, a pair of shorts, and some candy. Apparently the Easter bunny found some ridiculously good deals at Aeropostale? Go figure. The Easter bunny brought me a shirt, some perfume, and some candy! The perfume is Promise Me from Aeropostale and I looooove it. It was so nice of that Easter bunny.

As part of Spring we have been trying to organize things.

We have really been wanting to redo our closets because there is NO ROOM! Closet organization can get pretty expensive and it was a want more than a need, so we've put it off. One day while I was at work James called me to say that Lowe's had their closet organization on clearance and then an extra 25% off. Score! So we (mostly James) planned out what we needed and made the purchase. James is such a hard worker. Seriously, I would have given up an hour into the project. The before and afters!

Look how much more room we have! 2 rows and then 3 on my side! He even did our spare room! A new home for my scrubs!

Also as part of organizing, I found this idea on the cover of my magazine All You:

I loved the idea for a Receipt canister and also a change cup. We always have a pile of receipts at the end of the week, and I'm liking this idea a lot! So I went to Michael's and here ya go:

The little change cup is a votive holder. I think it was only 99 cents?
My next project is organizing my coupons. I will have to post pictures of that when I tackle the challenge... someday?
I got a little Spring Fever and decided to try out my green thumb! I've never planted/grown anything... ever. So I decided to go to Wal-Mart and try. (Sigh)... ha ha oh my. The first plant is already dead... I'm not joking. But it did look cute for a while in my kitchen.

Luckily it only cost around $3.00...

These ones I tried planting from seed. I'm not sure what kind they are, I just remember that they are lime green and fuschia. I check every day to see if they are sprouting and the other day I saw one starting! It's kind of fun :)

School is going good, I'm going to go through the summer too. I start my Nursing Clinical's and core in the Fall!!!!!!!! YAY! 15 months after that (and I pass my NCLEX) and I am an RN! I know it sounds like forever away, but I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel.

We are going to try and plan a vacation before I start clinicals or around Christmas. That is keeping me motivated.

I just received my HCG on Saturday and will be starting that this next Monday (the 12th). I will keep an update on that for those of you who are curious/wanting to try it.

My mom's birthday is tomorrow. I love her so much and admire her. She has been going through a rough time.. Love you mom.

Well that is about it for now. I will try and keep updating more often.
