- update -

Well we are still here in the blogging world, Shandi more so than James because well let's face it... he never posts :)

I have a confession to make... I am the biggest "Blogging Hypocrite" in the world! Please fess up everyone who is also guilty! I will get on to look at blogs or what not, and then almost get irritated when no one updates theirs! Yes irritated, yet... here I am with no actual posts about our lives for the last, who knows how long?!

Well now that I have that off my chest...

I still need to blog about James birthday with pictures and all. He turned the big 25 on July 20th! I will dedicate a post just to him for that later on.

My mom moved to St. George the end of July. It was bittersweet for her. I went down to visit her for 9 whole days the first week of August. I had never really been to St. George! I know right? I loved it. We also went to Las Vegas for 2 days. I will post pictures of that also, but I had a lot of fun. I miss her everyday, and I know she misses us kids. It's hard, but we will get through it. Everyone has something in their life I think that they struggle with, but it's those things that make us better people.

Me and James are going down to visit her for Labor Day weekend. It is much needed (ok I know I was gone for over a week but still).

Tomorrow is my last day of this Sociology class. I now have a month off of school! Then it's time to start Nursing. I'm really excited and hope that all of my hard work will pay off. It's fun to see some of my classmates from high school that are graduating already or are getting close. I think back to high school days and it's just fun to see what we have all become. Is that weird?

On a happier note, I got over my laryngitis. Ha. That was quite the adventure.

I am cutting down on my hours to Part-Time in October for school and am getting a little bit nervous. I'm happy that we will financially be okay, but let's face it... it sucks being poor. I know we will look back on these days though and laugh. I'm nervous that I will have my clinical rotations switched on me at the hospital last minute and won't get enough hours per week for tuition reimbursement and well, to live. Or my work will be ticked off. But I guess there is nothing i can really do about it except try and communicate to them what do know in advance right?

The Box Elder County Fair is this weekend! We are going to a family reunion up in Benson with my moms side of the family, and then to the fair with my cousin Michelle and her hubby Dave. I love the fair. I think I just love everything about this time of year.

Hope everyone is doing great!
