I was at the mall today getting some nail polish.

I got in my car, turned the key, and looked in my rear view mirror. A car drove past the aisle, most likely in search of a parking stall. After the car passed me, I began to reverse. I was partly out of my stall, turning the wheel. As I glance the my left, I notice that same car in a full reverse. What the crap is he doing? He keeps coming... He'll stop I think... Still coming... I lay on my horn for a good 4 seconds. Smash. The guy T-boned my car backwards. So he gives me his insurance info, and I give him mine. I take pictures with my phone and take down all of his info. He says he would like to pay for it out of pocket if possible, and if it is too costly he will go through his insurance. We part ways, I go get some bids and we call him tonight. He said he talked with his insurance agent and he stated that it is considered a "No Fault" and that we are both responsible for the damage to our cars.

BULL!

HE is the one who hit ME! He admitted to me it was his fault, and my husband, and admitted that he didn't look in his mirror or behind him! He is even willing to pay us $400 cash (the damage is almost $800) because there is way more damage to my car than his, and he "feels bad". Okay so you admit to guilt right there!

And I am too naieve to have reported it to the mall police.

Anyway, I am calling my insurance agent tomorrow to see if there is any validity to what his insurance agent said. And hopefully get a copy of the mall surveilance.

Long story short, don't be nice to ANYONE when they damage your car, even if they seem nice and promise you the world.
