We have had some fun this week :)

Tuesday morning started off with a 7AM staff meeting. (Groan). Don't worry my friends... it gets better.

Usually when I go to staff meeting that early and am not scheduled to work, I roll in with my comfy sweats and a pony tail. I also sport the glasses/sparse makeup look. Sure, it doesn't look exactly attractive, but... work with me people.

That morning I woke up bright and early (odd) and decided to get ready for the day. I know... I couldn't believe it either. I even curled my hair (gasp!)...

After staff meeting, and decided it would be an opportune time to rotate the tires on my car. Big-O always seems to be busier than all get out during the times I am actually ready/able to cross this task off my list (late in the afternoon or on the weekend). On the way to Big-O, I switched from my new Kelly Clarkson CD to the radio. Country sounded nice. Lo and behold, I heard them announce they were giving away Hunger Game movie tickets. Score. Not only that, but they were for the day before the opening premier. Double score. With all this no school time I've had on my hands, I've been reading books I actually WANT to read! It's a beautiful thing. I had just finished the Hunger Games book, and James and I have been dying to see the movie.

Hmmm.... I have never called in to a radio station before to win anything. What the heck, I'm gonna call. As I drive down to Big-O, the line rings busy. I try several times, and then decide to try the second number. As the ling rings, I sit down in Big-O, watching my car tires being rotated. And then.... I heard the DJ's voice. What the!

Anyways, I won the tickets! Right there in Big-O's waiting area. I was pretty darn stoked. We went last night and I loved every second of it! I'm going to start the second book next week. Did you all like it?

Other than that, I have had most of this week off work. It has been fab :) James and I gave our talks on Sunday and we survived!
