The clinic that I have worked at so graciously hired me as a RN in their InstaCare. I feel so blessed and grateful. It has definitely been an adjustment in terms of not being the MA anymore! I am loving it. I am On Call (I pick if shifts if someone is sick, etc.) In the InstaCare we see anything from sore throats to lacerations to heart attacks. It is great experience and I'm loving it.
I also just got hired at the George E. Wahlen Vetran's Home in Farr West. It is full time working 3 twelve hour graveyard shifts (6PM-6AM). The facility is new and gorgeous. Both of my grandpa's are Vetran's, and I feel so much gratitude towards them for their service. I think that it will be an honor to help care for the Vetran's and I am excited.
With working the 2 jobs it will be very busy, but I'm ready. The next step on my checklist is to pay off this student loan, so hopefully these jobs will make that happen :)
AND, with the help of my handy dandy new crockpot recipe book (see previous post) I should be able to still feel domestic! Ha ha. Yeah... we'll see.
